Megumi, a professional storyteller, will visit campus on the afternoon of September 10 and the evening of September 11 to tell stories of Japanese internment during WWII. She will be joined afterwards by two former internees for a question and answer session. This event was planned to complement our English 100-level students' reading of the internment memoir Farewell to Manzanar, but we encourage other students from across the campus to attend as well--history, political science, theater, or speech students might be particularly interested.

For more information, you can check out Megumi's website at Megumi Tales. She will be telling "Jack's Sketches" and "Baachan's Shells" as her two stories.
