Las Positas College Welcomes New and Returning Students to EXPO 2008
One-Half Unit College Orientation for New and Re-Entry Students
Las Positas College (LPC) in Livermore will host Expo LPC 2008 on Thursday, August 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. Expo LPC is a one-half unit college orientation that includes a tour of the 147-acre campus, a preview to college life, college success strategies, important academic information, an opportunity to meet faculty, staff and fellow students, food, and fun activities.
All new and re-entry students enrolled in 6 or more units are encouraged to register for the August 14 Expo orientation (PSCN 24 section - course code CRN# 20840). For more information, please call Veronica Jennings at (925) 424-1421 or the Counseling office at (925) 424-1400.

What is EXPO LPC?
EXPO is a 0.5 unit college orientation course that includes:

- College Success Strategies
- Important Academic Information
- Meet Faculty, Staff and Fellow Students
- Food and Fun Activities!
Make sure to bring your 2008-09 LPC Student Handbook. If you haven’t purchased your copy yet, bring $5.00 (cash or check made payable to Las Positas College) to buy the Student Handbook (that includes the College Catalog CD) that day.
WHO needs to register?
All new and re-entry students enrolled in 6 units or more need to register for PSCN 24.
