Student Life at Las Positas
Student life at Las Positas College is growing rapidly! LPC has over twenty clubs, with interests ranging from academic to athletic, from art to culture, and from music to mass communications. A current club list can be obtained at the ASLPC office in room 1709 or the office of Student Services in building 700.
Las Positas also has an active student government, known as the ASLPC, that sponsors campus events, lobbies on behalf of student interests, and represents students on campus committees. On campus you will also find a student newspaper, student-run radio, and numerous theater and music programs. The college has intramural sports and club sports, like basketball, track, soccer, ultimate frisbee, fencing, and martial arts.
